Five Star Printing is an ethically-motivated Lithographic and Digital printing company pledged to play a practical role in protecting the environment for future generations.

We accept that waste is an inevitable by-product from industry but believe that our proper disposal of waste and our "green print" commitment will help reduce our impact on the environment and will bring long term environmental benefits.

Practising what we preach

As a company encouraging environmental good practice we will:

• Operate our own strict environmental management systems
• Commit ourselves to continuous registration to the environmental quality standards, so that our environmental programme is measured against the best objective assessment available
• Encourage transparency by inviting customers to visit our premises to inspect disposal procedures
• Maintain professional links within the printing industry and share specialist expertise with our national representatives through associate membership of the British Printing Industries Federation.

Our paper supplier Antalis Ltd are the first and only UK paper merchant to attain FSC and PEFC Chain of Custody which promotes produts that are sourced from sustainable forests managed using the FSC (Forestry Steward Council) or PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) or are manufactured from recycled material.

We use J&G Environmental who specialise in waste control to the printing industry, they provide experty managed collection of all industrial waste.
